The coffee producer
Betty Pérez is a third generation coffee farmer, producing coffee now for over 20 years. She is also an outspoken advocate of gender equality and fair trade in the coffee industry. A highly influential member of the COMSA cooperative, she has been a longstanding advocate of women in leadership positions, and shares their philosophy, which is to “play as a team to succeed as a team”. The cooperative invests heavily in educating children to change the future of their community through an innovative educational approach, and she shares her vision and values of cultivating coffee in an organic and sustainable fashion with her 5 children.
Taste notes
A juicy full bodied espresso with initial notes of honey and hazelnut. These sweet notes eventually give way to a refreshing floral aftertaste. Clave de Sol works great with milk, however it shows its true potential as an Espresso or Americano.
