The coffee producers

Donas do Café is a bold women’s empowerment movement transforming the coffee industry by bringing visibility, opportunity, and recognition to women across the supply chain. Backed by SMC Specialty Coffee’s robust network, the initiative offers technical training, sensory education, and sustainable farming practices to elevate women’s expertise and impact. It celebrates all women in coffee — from pickers to quality controllers — ensuring every pivotal role is seen and valued. With in-person gatherings and knowledge exchange, women apply what they learn, improve their farms, and gain the recognition they’ve long deserved.

By reinvesting premiums directly into the hands of women producers — $30,000 in 2024 alone — the program creates real, lasting change in farming communities. Donas do Café isn’t just a project; it’s a growing movement fueled by equality, passion, and shared success. It’s reshaping an industry that once overlooked women, instilling pride, ownership, and leadership in every cup. At Bean Inspired, we proudly stand behind this journey — where every bean tells a story of empowerment, sustainability, and connection.
